  1.                         Porter Co. (VPZ) Version 1.0

  5.         "Porter Co. (VPZ) Version 1.0" is my second attempt at creating 
  6. scenery.  It was created using the latest and greatest of scenery generators, 
  7. "Airport 1.17". "Porter Co. (VPZ)" started developing shortly after "Lake In 
  8. The Hills (3CK)" was released because of some encouragement I received as a 
  9. result of "Lake In The Hills (3CK).  After working on "Porter Co. (VPZ)" for
  10. some time a few problems arose.  "Porter Co. (VPZ)" was originally planed to 
  11. have dynamic scenery.  After compiling the "Porter Co. (VPZ)" scenery there
  12. were no airplanes at all.  To top that, all of my airplanes at Meigs were gone
  13. too.  Once the problem was found with the aid of many helpful people, it was 
  14. determined that "Porter Co. (VPZ)" and the City of Chicago can't coexist.  
  15. You can thank King William of Redmond.  The visual boundaries for the dynamic
  16. scenery in Chicago span well into Indiana.  Sorry guys and girls, but "Porter
  17. Co. (VPZ)" can not have dynamic scenery.

  19.         Porter Co. is located in Valparaiso, Indiana were I will be spending 
  20. much of my future time near by at Valparaiso U.  I hope that I will figure out 
  21. how to customize, and include the V.U. campus on the next version.

  23.         To install "Porter Co. (VPZ) Version 1.0" move the porter.zip file to 
  24. your scenery subdirectory of your copy of flight simulator 5.X.  Next unzip
  25. the file using the pkunzip utility.  After reading this readme.txt file it
  26. may be moved to a more convenient location, or deleted.  Just rememer that 
  27. runway 27 is equipped with ILS operating at 109.7 mega-hertz.
